What a week we have had. The funeral for Jimmy was yesterday. People were standing. It was packed. A lot of school kids were there. Then we went to their house to deliver food. The church was invited to their home for dinner after the funeral. They had to leave this morning to go to his aunt's funeral. We went to the Assistant Living this morning. I sang "I Saw The Light" and "One Day At A Time". We had 10 people for the Bible study. Then we went to the Grandparent's Day for Carlie. It was a surprise for her. She is a cutie and very well mannered little girl. She played bingo, was the 3rd one to win, and then we had cookies and kool-aid. Poor little thing is sick tonight. I forgot to take my camera to take her picture.
After that we got home in time to talk to the man that finally cut the prairie hay. He took down part of the fence accidentally over the weekend. He also accidentally ran over our cat, Socks, with the thrasher. Socks liked to stay in the west field. He laid out there all the time. It was an accident; the guy felt really bad about it. He was laying down and the guy did not see him. :-( With everything being so hectic for the last week it did not hit me like it normally would. He was a big cat and liked attention. A lot of things has been happening around here lately. Here is a picture of Socks. Blessings, prayers, and hugs, Janie
