The song playing is God On The Mountain that I sang Tuesday. Tuesday morning 5 of us went to the Assistant Living. I sang 2 songs, husband gave the lesson, other 3 read, and all of us shared and talked about the lesson.
Things are not looking very good for the United States right now. As one person said to me that I am so peaceful in a world like this. I guess I can say that I feel like God is in control. We are a people that like to think we are all in control. I think all the tornadoes, hurricanes, and etc. has told us who is in control. Deciding on who to choose as president, that is a free choice. I do not like to argue over who I am voting for. You might not like who I am going to vote for and I might not like who you are voting for. I do know one thing: Gore said 8 years ago that within 12 years Social Security is going to be gone. I agree with him.

I love that song, Janie. My silly computer is having playlist problems. It's so low. I have to turn the volume up so darned high that when a buddy comes on, we all jump.

Hi Janie. I agree about the voting. That's each person's choice and I see no sense in arguing about it or having "heated" discussions. Soooo sad that people do that like first graders. Gosh, I hope Gore was wrong about social security. I'm not exactly in the work force category. Oh yeah, use your dashboard to see all the entries of the people you follow :)....alice

I fear for our country, Janie, but I'm not afraid because I know the Lord is in control; I fear for those that don't know him and those that put their trust in men instead of him. We assume the Lord is always going to bless America; I often wonder why he should bless America; America has no regard for him (collectively speaking, I'm not talking about individuals)

I didn't get a chance to comment on this so will now. If any of you have taken notice McCain is a whole new campaigner since Sarah Palen came along. All the negativity out of her mouth and downright filth will possibly lose him the camppaign.
